I am pleased and honored to have the opportunity to serve our local/regional arts and cultural community as a member of the Board. The arts have been an incredibly important part of my life - and often times my livelihood - since I was very young. I can think of no greater catalyst for a vibrant community than the arts and there are few better connectors, than the arts - as they connect heart to mind, connect painters to musicians, writers to singers, performers to listeners, dreamers to pragmatists, introverts to extroverts,
races to races, atheists to Christians, peacemakers to antagonists, and bridge the gaps between all of life's tragedies and comedies. I am privileged to have the opportunity to cultivate a creative community that my family and our friends can enjoy and experience...this generation and the next. Janna Olson,

I appreciate the opportunity to raise my family in a thriving rural area. I believe a strong arts and cultural presence is essential to the vitality of a community, and I am so pleased to contribute to the arts presence by serving on The Golden Husk Board. I am especially passionate about providing diverse experiences for youth and adults to share their artistic talents and creatively learn together. It is a privilege to collaborate with innovative people to enhance our arts culture.

My love for the arts has always been in my heart. I began performing at local music festivals at six years old and I am so grateful to be able to live out my dreams, while raising my family in my hometown. I enjoy writing, recording and performing music and touring with my band. I am happy to support The Golden Husk Theatre and to collaborate with others to enhance our local arts culture and provide quality entertainment opportunities.

I have lived and worked in the Ord area for over 40 years as a farmer/rancher. We have a blended family, with two sons and their families living in the area, and extended family, too. I love to experience performing arts, especially music and theater. My contributions to the Husk are primarily in facility quality and maintenance.

I have worked in retail for over 50 years and always enjoy being around employees and customers. My work goals are to make the people I supervise successful. I enjoy working in the outdoors taking care of the lawn and landscaping the grounds around our home. I was raised in the North Loup Valley and went to Barker country school and graduated from North Loup Scotia High School. I enjoy being around people at the Golden Husk and seeing people enjoying the different talents that perform on stage at the Husk.

I am thankful for the opportunity to serve The Golden Husk Theatre and nurture the local arts and entertainment culture to enhance our quality of life. I believe supporting our arts culture is a wonderful way to honor the special gifts and talents of local people, preserve our history, and attract young families to our community. I enjoy welcoming people to our community and offering warm hospitality to people near and far at the theatre.

I have embraced the arts from childhood, as I studied French in high school and college and have been active in vocal music, musicals and piano throughout my life. My passion for the arts sparked my interest in serving on the VPAT Board. I hold strong value in having the availability of exceptional live performances and artistic educational opportunities locally in our beautiful, historic theater for all ages of community members to enjoy.
