Join us for a wonderful day of everything you love about Polka music, Czech heritage, and the local arts culture! Enjoy three awesome Polka Bands, delicious ethnic food and beverages, lots of homemade KOLACHES, an art show, vendors, and warm hospitality and fellowship! At 11:00 AM - The event will kick off with music by the Mike Chelewski & Three Guys Polka Band, Polka Dance Lessons, Laddie Bruha's Accordion Display, Tillie's Treasures-Czech & More by Andrea Volf, Valley County Museum Tours, and Brats and Dogs on the grill in front of the theatre. Next, join the jam session with the Brad Husak Trio and jammers! All are welcome at the jam session so grab your accordion and play with some of the best musicians in the area, or join us as patrons for all of the fun. Jam session accordion players may register by calling Dahn at 308.730.2294. All jam players will receive free admission and one free meal while at the event! Then welcome the Mark Vyhlidal Orchestra to the stage and grab your dancing shoes! Tickets are available at The Golden Husk 308.730.8133, the Ord Area Chamber Office 308.728.7875, and online at goldenhuskarts.org. $12/jam & dance ticket and $40/family pass for the full event. Follow the yellow brick road to the magical world of OZ presented by the local talents of the Husk Community Theatre and directed by Jesse Rosberg and Karen Reynolds. We are happy to feature our Community Theatre Production of OZ based on the beloved classic THE WIZARD OF OZ on: Friday, June 20th at 7:00 pm Saturday, June 21st at 7:00 pm Sunday, June 22nd at 2:00 pm Tickets are $15/adult and $10/youth. This event is made possible with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council & Nebraska Cultural Endowment, along with local support by Valley County Community Foundation Fund and Valley County Tourism. |
